Nrrgh, I love lineups. :3
Edit (3/14): Added Morgan's lady form to the end, because we needed to finally see the full, mighty extent of dat braid.
They're so cool, can't stop watching them xD
Looks fantastic! I'm really enjoying your style, and the diversity of subjects makes this great reference material.
SLUSHY WUSHY MUSHY MUSH!
Very probably he just kicks back and lets Jackie tie his hair into infinite braids. He's got more important things to do! Like sharpening his axe collection. Again.
His pants? They're stuffed with Kleenex!
Morgan: Say what?
I kid, I kid. I think. Are they?
Naw, I suck at feeeet! I just kinda sketch wedge shapes and hope no-one looks too close at them.
I'm not sure if Neridia can actually float like that. I'm considering it. It would be so surreal and pretty and I'm not sure why she shouldn't be able to do so, although I need to think through the ramifications for other nymphs if they're all allowed to fly now. I think it's okay, but I'm not settled.
Haha! You remember Brogan and Marie's tailor shop for shapeshifters and other beings of variable and complicated dimensions? That's where. Since Fluffers himself changes size over the course of a transformation, anything Eric wants to wear in that state had better be able to keep up. So his monster clothes are pretty heavily magically tricked out to not only change shapes with him but sizes as well. This can be kind of spendy, so I imagine he's only had a handful of outfits monster-proofed.
He's more like seven foot, sometimes pushing nine. (Seven in this drawing, same as Kriss.) Big fella. Always appreciates falling back into human form so he can pass through doorways without an ordeal.
They're so cute together! Do they ever have kids by some miracle of the Universe?
What does Var'Kriss do all day in the library? And why does he need so many axes?
I'm a little afraid to discover what lies in the puffy pants now
But they actually look like feet! And the shoes are so cool! How did you design them?!
*Quickly steals Cornelius left shoe and inspects*
Speaking of nymphs and nymph like creatures, who's Cully?
Cool! How did Eric come across Borgan and Maries tailor shop? How did he make it to the Altalamatox?
geez, it must make city travel difficult for him. Quick question, how would he ride in a car as fluffers or does he just chill out in the centaur inn?
Kriss mostly lounges around PRAAAAYING that something bad will come out of the collection so he can violently kill it. Like all the Librarians, he's pretty much just on-call in case something happens, and like the other Librarians he does his share of mundane tasks like keeping the place organized and tidy. Otherwise, he lives in the Library's basement (go figure) where he trains and sleeps rather a lot. He's actually out of the Library most mornings and down at a smithing yard where he pounds, grinds, and twists out weapons of his own design, and probably picks up chicks. (Why, you can never have enough axes!)
Cully? Do you mean James, the igniad guy? He's not in this lineup, if that's what you're asking.
That is a very good question about Eric, and part of his very long backstory that I haven't explored yet. I do know that he first visited Altalamatox city when the Library materialized there, because he'd heard the individuals there were all from past time periods, more or less, just like himself. He actually lives in a different country (Elarg, where Brogan, Marie, Thomas, and Penny live), but visits the Library often.
Yes, it does! But then again, what's annoying for him a few days every now and then is daily life for dragons and centaurs and things like Cornelius and Nicole. He can ride in cars, depending on the size of the car. Honestly, although Eric keeps pace with the times pretty well, he has spent most of his long life in a Network where monsters are NOT ok in public places, and while that's not entirely the case these days, it's still uncomfortable for him to wander around in public as Fluffers. Like, he's always got one ear open for an angry mob coming around the corner. Much of that is probably because he knows that his monster shape is the result of a curse, a punishment, that he does kind of feel he deserved and it is therefore a shameful thing, although no-one else would be likely to assume that. Most people would assume people like Eric either had a bad supernatural accident or their mothers were doing potions while pregnant or something. Long way of saying, he almost always hermits away in his cozy home while monstrous, or at friends' places, or at least not out in crowds of strangers. If he's had a really bad shift, and is like, more than six foot on all fours, he just doesn't go out, period.
Tom always stands like a gentleman!!!
Love this! I'm so glad you're feeling better!!
Your drawings are always such a big inspiration!!!!
Morgan: *SNOOORR--* UH? Oosit? Wotsit? Ohh... yeaaah, sickada-sized rabbits an'... an' disturbin'ly mental judges... I gotcher... I gotcher back, 'Medic, dontchoo worry, don worry, 'bout a thiiing... *SNOORE*
Yes. I believe. *passes you a second tennis racket*
And wow, um, Ben's braid back there is kind of attractive. I don't think I knew that was there. XD
I won't lie, almost my entire reason for doing this is that so many of my characters have long girly hair that we never get to see because I like drawing faces too much. So, surprise! I'm pretty partial to Ben's braid myself. Even though the fact that it's there means he actually has EVEN MORE hair than it already seems. He looks like Hagrid without the braid holding it back.
