Oh man, dA. It's been a while since I've really been engaged here, I feel like I've missed a lot. As usual very nice people are very nicely waiting for me to remember to get online and get back to them. Sorry, guys.
Haven't had the energy to do a lot of art lately. Treated myself to a painting marathon yesterday and most of yesternight. Which means I've spent most of today and tonight carving away at what is supposed to be a magazine layout.
Aand, Tox is confusing the artist's comments box with the journal widget again. This here's a sort of love letter to the current season from Ben and I. And completely lineless. What a nice feeling.
I fail to represent this, but Ben's commonly seen with a cane on account of a screwy knee. It's a swordcane. In an even more literal sense. It's his sword, sometimes, and sometimes it's this long walking stick thing. You know it because it's always got the three rubies set into it and because of its habit of being immediately lost when put down, if you're not Ben. It's a very loyal enchanted-stick-of-various-materials-and-make and Ben's only truely treasured possession. But that's knights and their swords for you. Besides cycle through sword, cane, and stick at Ben's command, it doesn't do anything else of note, that I've been informed of.
